Mazda FLAIR WAGON and FLAIR WAGON Custom Style Fully Redesigned

On December 25th, Mazda released the fully redesigned "FLAIR WAGON" and "FLAIR WAGON Custom Style" mini vehicles.

The FLAIR WAGON/FLAIR WAGON Custom Style are compact passenger cars supplied by Suzuki under OEM agreement by Mazda.

The first-generation FLAIR WAGON was based on the Palette, which preceded the Spacia, and was introduced in 2012. From the second generation introduced in 2013, it was based on the Spacia, and the new model marks the fourth generation.
The fully redesigned new "FLAIR WAGON" and "FLAIR WAGON Custom Style" adopt contents similar to the latest Suzuki Spacia/Spacia Custom.
The lineup includes the FLAIR WAGON in "XG" and "XS" grades, and the FLAIR WAGON Custom Style offers "XS" and turbocharged "XT" models. All models come with CVT transmission, and both 2WD (FF) and 4WD options are available.

In terms of exterior design, the new FLAIR WAGON and FLAIR WAGON Custom Style express a design that evokes spaciousness and excitement in the former and sophistication and presence in the latter. Additionally, the FLAIR WAGON offers nine body color options, including a two-tone roof variant, while the FLAIR WAGON Custom Style features a large front grille with chrome and glossy black accents, chrome front bumper garnish, and chrome rear door garnish, offering six body color options.

In the interior of the new FLAIR WAGON and FLAIR WAGON Custom Style, the use of color tones and materials tailored to each character express a sense of luxury and comfort. Rear seats are equipped with a "Multi-use Flap," allowing for functions such as preventing ottoman and luggage from falling by adjusting the position and angle of the flap at the front edge of the seat. Additionally, the adoption of features such as seat heaters for the driver and front passenger, a big open tray in front of the front passenger, a foldable seatback table for the rear seats, and independently adjustable center armrests enhances convenience.

In terms of powertrain, the new FLAIR WAGON and FLAIR WAGON Custom Style achieve excellent fuel efficiency and smooth driving by incorporating an efficient naturally aspirated gasoline engine, CVT, and mild hybrid mechanism.

Moreover, all models of the new FLAIR WAGON and FLAIR WAGON Custom Style come standard with Mazda's first collision damage reduction brake system, "Dual Sensor Brake Support II," which combines millimeter-wave radar and monocular camera.
