Suzuki released the special edition model "X Limited" of the light truck "SUPER CARRY" on December 13th.
The Suzuki CARRY is a light commercial truck that debuted in 1961 as the first generation of light vehicles. The current model is the 11th generation. The SUPER CARRY, announced in 2018, is a large cabin specification compared to the CARRY, with the cabin extended 460mm rearward and the overall height increased by 120mm. The driver's seat has an added reclining mechanism of up to 40 degrees, and the seat slide distance is 180mm longer than the CARRY, enhancing livability. As a derivative model of the "CARRY", it has been enlarged into a large cabin, with overhead shelves as standard equipment, and a seat back space measuring 920mm in height, 1,235mm in width, and 250mm in length. It is equipped with the first front folding mechanism for the passenger seat in a light truck, and also comes with a seat back table. Although the cargo bed length has been shortened compared to the CARRY due to the enlargement of the cabin, an opening of 230mm in height, 495mm in depth, and 1,315mm in width is provided at the rear of the cabin, ensuring a cargo bed floor length of 1,975mm compared to the cargo bed length of 1,480mm, which is 55mm shorter than the CARRY. This allows for the transportation of small quantities of standard-sized veneer boards or long-handled tools.
The Suzuki SUPER CARRY special edition X Limited is based on the "SUPER CARRY X with LED headlights", adopting special decals. The chrome parts such as the LED headlight extensions, front garnish, and fog lamp bezels have been changed to black paint, and the wheels, door handles, and door mirrors have also been changed to black, giving it a tough and rugged impression.
The body colors available are "Moss Gray Metallic", "Silky Silver Metallic", "Cool Khaki Pearl Metallic", and "Bluish Black Pearl 3".
In terms of powertrain, the Suzuki SUPER CARRY special edition X Limited is equipped with a water-cooled inline 3-cylinder engine, and you can choose between a 4AT and a 5MT. In addition to 2WD, 4WD is also available.
