Suzuki EVERY: Partial Changes

Cited from Suzuki

Suzuki implemented partial specification changes to its light commercial vehicle, the "EVERY," and its light passenger vehicle, the "EVERY WAGON," on February 27, 2024.

The EVERY is a one-box type of light vehicle manufactured and sold by Suzuki. The first generation of the EVERY traces back to the Carry Van introduced in 1964, with the brand name "EVERY" appearing in 1982 as a sub-brand. The following year, in 1993, the brand was organized into the light truck "Carry" and the light one-box "EVERY," with lineup distinctions of 5-number registered passenger cars and 4-number registered commercial vehicles. The commercial vehicle became the EVERY, while the passenger vehicle became the EVERY WAGON. As of 2020, it has a 51-year history spanning 12 generations, making it the fourth-longest-lasting vehicle name among light automobiles.

In this round of specification changes to the EVERY, CVT vehicles were newly introduced to enhance fuel efficiency and quietness. Additionally, electronically controlled 4WD systems with three selectable modes – "2WD," "4WD AUTO," and "4WD LOCK" – responsive to usage and road conditions, as well as mud escape assist, were adopted for 4WD vehicles with CVT. Furthermore, new body colors, "Denim Blue Metallic" and "Moss Gray Metallic," were added.

As part of this update, the highest-grade variant, the "JOIN Turbo," has been reintroduced. The "JOIN Turbo" now includes equipment such as driver's seat heaters, assistant seat back tables, keyless push-start systems, and rear-seat slide door closers. Additionally, Suzuki's proprietary preventive safety technology, "Suzuki Safety Support," is now standard equipment across all models. LED headlights have also been adopted to enhance safety features. Moreover, the EVERY WAGON now comes standard with LED headlights, door mirrors with LED side turn lamps (with remote folding function), assistant seat back tables, and leather-wrapped steering wheels on all models.

In the EVERY WAGON lineup, the "JP Turbo" has been removed, leaving only two models, the "PZ Turbo" and "PZ Turbo Special." Both of these models are equipped with LED headlights, door mirrors with LED side turn lamps (with remote folding function), assistant seat back tables, and leather-wrapped steering wheels as standard equipment.

Why not take a drive with the more equipped Suzuki EVERY?
