Honda launched the new ACCORD sedan in March 2024. The 11th generation of the new model features improvements to its hybrid mechanism, as well as the inclusion of the latest safety technology and advanced equipment.

In terms of exterior, the new ACCORD adopts a more low and wide stance compared to its predecessor. Characterized by a powerful nose and sleek, elongated form, it features slim full-LED headlights and a horizontal rear combination lamp that accentuates its wide presence. The body size measures 4975mm in length, 1860mm in width, and 1450mm in height, with only the length being extended by 75mm compared to the previous model, while other dimensions remain the same.

The interior of the new ACCORD follows a black-themed design, emphasizing a sense of luxury with soft materials in areas easily accessible to occupants. Features such as thick-cushioned seats with high-texture leather, multi-color LED ambient lamps (7 colors) placed on the instrument panel and door lining, and a new control air conditioning system to enhance comfort are highlighted. Furthermore, it is equipped with a 12.3-inch Honda Connect display, a visor-less 10.2-inch LCD meter, and an 11.5-inch equivalent head-up display, providing a user-friendly interface. Additionally, it includes the "Experience Selection Dial," which allows multiple functions to be operated through a single dial.

The new ACCORD adopts a front-wheel-drive system and is equipped with the 2-motor hybrid mechanism "e:HEV" featuring newly developed motors. It combines a 2.0L inline-4 direct injection Atkinson cycle engine with an electric CVT transmission. The configuration of the two motors within the CVT has been changed from the previous coaxial arrangement to a parallel-axis arrangement, increasing the maximum output of the generator motor to 14kW and improving the maximum torque of the drive motor to 20N·m, achieving a powerful and smooth acceleration. The fuel efficiency in WLTC mode is recorded at 23.8 km/L. Additionally, the deceleration selector has been expanded from 4 stages to 6 stages from the previous model, enhancing the maximum deceleration rate and enabling more flexible deceleration control. Moreover, it is the first Honda vehicle in Japan to be equipped with the newly developed "Motion Management System," which adds a technology called "Front Weight Control" to the electronic control system "Agile Handling Assist," supporting smooth vehicle behavior when cornering. It assists the driver's operation in various driving conditions such as slippery snow-covered or wet road surfaces, urban areas, and winding roads.

In terms of safety features, the new ACCORD is equipped with the latest Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS) "Honda SENSING 360". This system includes a wide-angle camera with a horizontal field of view of approximately 100 degrees and five millimeter-wave radars to monitor the vehicle's surroundings, enhancing safety.
