Nissan unveiled the 2025 model of the NISSAN GT-R on March 14th, with sales scheduled for June.

The NISSAN GT-R (R35 model) made its debut in October 2007, inheriting the lineage of the "GT-R," the pinnacle model of the sports sedan and coupe "Skyline" that Nissan had been selling until then. Under the concept of "pursuing the ultimate driving pleasure," it has continued to evolve as a car packed with Nissan's technology. The NISSAN GT-R is the successor to Nissan's sports model symbol, the Skyline GT-R, and is distinguished as the "3rd generation" of the GT-R. As a vehicle model, it inherits the R34 model, which was the final model of the 2nd generation GT-R, and becomes the R35 model, separate from the V35 and later Skyline models. Additionally, while adopting design elements such as the 2-door coupe and round 4-lamp taillights that were symbols of past Skyline GT-Rs, its development and design are independent, making it a distinct model.

In the 2025 model of the NISSAN GT-R to be released this time, the "Premium Edition" will introduce a new special interior color called "Blue Heaven," which is based on blue, and will further enhance performance by adopting high-precision weight-balanced components, such as piston rings, connecting rods, and crankshafts, previously only used in the "Special Edition," to improve responsiveness. Furthermore, it will equip a new aluminum nameplate engraved with the master's name in red letters and a gold model number plate in the engine room.

In the powertrain of the NISSAN GT-R, there are no changes from the initial combination of the "VR38DETT" 3.8-liter V6 twin-turbo engine, 6-speed dual-clutch transmission, and 4WD system. The 3.8-liter V6 twin-turbo engine boasted a maximum output of 480 horsepower and maximum torque of 588Nm when it debuted in 2007, but in the 2024 model introduced this time, it has been increased to 570 horsepower and 637Nm. Furthermore, the "NISMO" model, which has undergone dedicated tuning, delivers 600 horsepower and 652Nm.

There are no changes from the 2024 model to improve aerodynamic characteristics, such as the front grille, front and rear bumpers, rear spoiler, and diffuser attached to the lower part of the car, in the exterior of the GT-R. Additionally, there are no changes in the equipment, such as using RAYS aluminum cast wheels and a FUJITSUBO titanium alloy muffler.

The evolution of the NISSAN GT-R continues unabated, making it impossible to take our eyes off it.
